A little bit about me...

 

Some of the earliest memories I have are from the kitchen helping my mum make any cake I could - and by helping I mean predominantly licking the bowl. But this childhood excitement for baking has never left me and since then I have been bombarding my family and friends with my creations.

 

It has always been a dream of mine to turn this passion into my job and I am finally starting my journey towards it.

 

From 2010, I have proudly provided the cake stall for all Brighton Rocker Roller Derby's home bouts (If you don't know what roller derby is, I strongly recommend looking it up!).

This has only spurred me on to transform my dream into reality.

 

In the summer of 2014, a friend asked me if I would like a place at a food festival he was putting on and I gratefully accepted.

At the same time he asked if I could make a Harry Potter themed 18th birthday cake (my first real big celebration cake).

And from that summer, Lotus Blossom has...well blossomed! I have absolutely adored making small boxes of cupcakes all the way to wedding cakes for my ever increasing client base.
